1 End with a do session, “don't talk but brush”
Preferably plan half an hour at the end of the meeting to deal with as many action points as possible immediately. Advantage: the meeting time becomes shorter and more effective and you get immediate results. A closing drink / networking drink can do wonders.
2. Put minutes live in the cloud
Use a cloud tool to make the minutes together and therefore live. Pros: Not one person is responsible for this not-so-popular task. And everyone can immediately check whether the minutes are correct. Google docs is a good and widely used environment in which you can also have external participants participate.
3 Mail a link to the minutes of the day before and have actions checked off
Extra stick behind the door that no one has forgotten a meeting and an extra check for the chairman that actions have been processed.
4 Let everyone come by train
This way everyone is on time and can still read the documents in the train.
5 Park discussions that don't belong there
This tip needs little explanation and perhaps less out of the box. but we needed 5 😉
Last but not least – a commercial and sponsored – bouncer: prepare the meeting well, come half an hour earlier and put all spearheads / actions / subjects on a whiteboard, preferably on the mega whitewalls of Space to Create of course!
