AI at Space to Create: automatically report your meeting

Space to Create is known for its advanced technical facilities for meetings and trainings. We have now added something new to make your meetings even more efficient: the possibility to automatically record your meetings using AI tools.

How does it work?

On request, we will set up a separate computer in the meeting room, complete with the right software. It is useful if you create a (free or paid) account for the transcription tool you want to use in advance, so that your data remains safely in your environment. We provide the equipment, including a microphone.

Limited time offer

Until April 2025, we offer this service for an introductory price of only €49!

What you get for this:

  • An intake interview and form to communicate your wishes
  • An Apple computer for the duration of your meeting
  • A central microphone
  • Start-up assistance
  • Assurance that no data is stored on our systems (most tools work through your own account)

Please note! You will need your own account with one of the transcription tools.

Tools we currently support:

1. Otter.ai

Otter.ai provides real-time transcription for meetings and interviews. It automatically recognizes speakers, so you can see who is saying what. You can also add notes and share them with others. It is a useful tool for detailed meeting reports.

  • Free/Paid: The free version offers limited minutes per month. The paid pro version gives you unlimited recordings and extra features, such as advanced speaker recognition.
  • Speaker Recognition: Yes, automatic speaker identification is available.

2. Microsoft Teams (with live transcription)

Microsoft Teams has a built-in transcription function for meetings. A transcription is automatically created during the meeting, and afterwards you can see exactly who said what. An ideal option if you already use Microsoft 365.

  • Free/Paid: The transcription feature is part of a paid Microsoft 365 subscription. Some features are available in the free version of Teams, but transcription generally requires a paid subscription.
  • Speaker Recognition: Yes, Teams automatically recognizes who says what during the meeting.

3. Google Meet (with live captions)

Google Meet offers real-time captioning during meetings. With the “Tactiq” add-on, you can convert these captions into a full transcript. Tactiq can also identify speakers, which makes it useful for meetings.

  • Free/Paid: Google Meet is free, but the transcription feature requires an extension like Tactiq. This extension has a free version and a paid version with more features.
  • Speaker Recognition: Yes, with the Tactiq extension you can see who said what.

4.Rev

Rev offers both AI and human transcription services, making it highly accurate. Speaker recognition is possible when you upload recordings. Rev is useful for detailed meeting and interview reports.

  • Free/Paid: Paid per minute recording ($1,25 per minute for AI, $5 per minute for human transcription).
  • Speaker Recognition: Yes, available with both AI and human transcription.

5. Trint

Trint uses AI to transcribe audio files and offers the ability to add notes and tags. Speaker recognition is applied automatically, making it a powerful tool for extended meetings.

  • Free/Paid: Trint is a paid service, with subscriptions starting at $60 per month. There is no free version, but you can try it out with a trial period.
  • Speaker Recognition: Yes, automatic speaker identification is available.

6. Sonix

Sonix offers AI-powered automatic transcriptions, including speaker recognition, plus the ability to add notes and generate subtitles, making it suitable for both audio and video projects.

  • Free/Paid: Paid, but you can start with a 15 minute free trial.
  • Speaker Recognition: Yes, automatic speaker identification is available.

7. Descript

Descript is a versatile tool for both transcription and audio and video editing. It also offers speaker recognition features and is ideal if you want to do editing in addition to transcription.

  • Speaker Recognition: Yes, automatic speaker identification is available.

8. Fireflies.ai

  • Speaker Recognition: Yes, automatic speaker recognition is available.

9. Scribbl

Scribbl is a Chrome extension that automatically transcribes Google Meet meetings. It’s easy to use for quick transcriptions, but lacks advanced features like speaker recognition.
